Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. Unsaving could mess up your game's natural flow, and where's the fun in that? I accidentally did it once and felt like I cheated on my village. Plus, the guilt from Mr. Resetti's lecture was REAL.

Quitting Animal Crossing without saving is like trying to leave a party without saying goodbye - possible, but frowned upon by some! In most Animal Crossing games, you can simply hit the Home button on your Nintendo Switch, then close the game from the home screen without saving. Remember, doing this might make Mr. Resetti very unhappy if you're playing an older version where he appears!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
