How to Come Off Facebook
If you want to permanently leave, you need to delete your account rather than deactivate it. Same place in Settings, just choose 'Delete' instead of 'Deactivate'.

To take a Facebook break, you can deactivate your account. Go to Settings → Your Facebook Information → Deactivation and Deletion. Easy peasy!
Just log out and forget about it. It’s like leaving a party without saying goodbye. Simple, right?
You can also take a mini-break by just uninstalling the app from your phone and coming back whenever you feel ready.
