Actually, Terraria doesn't have a command system like Minecraft does, so there’s no ‘/command’ to type. What you CAN do is make use of mods like tModLoader to add commands functionality among other cool features. Mods can let you do all sorts of things from spawning items to teleporting around the map. Remember, mods are PC-only though!
