To connect the controller to your PS5, just plug it into the console using the USB cable that came with it. Once plugged in, press the PS button until the light bar starts flashing. Boom, you're connected!

I always do it like this: plug your controller into the PS5 using the USB cable, then press the PS button. If you want to connect wirelessly after that, just unplug the cable and it should stay connected!
