Easiest way? Use the USB cable that came with your PS5. Just plug it into the USB port on the front of the console and the other end into your controller. Turn on the console, and the controller will automatically pair.

Simple! Hold the PS button and the Create button on the controller until the light bar starts flashing. Then, on your PS5, go to Settings > Accessories > General > Bluetooth Accessories, and select your controller from the list.

Just plug it in with the USB cable. That's it, really.

I set mine up by plugging it in with the USB cable, then turned the controller and the console on. They paired instantly! Couldn't be easier.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
