Simply plug your headset into the 3.5mm jack on your DualShock 4 controller, then go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output Device and select 'Headset Connected to Controller.'

FYI, if you have a headset with a USB connection, just plug it straight into the PS4's USB port. The console should automatically recognize it.

If you're using a wireless headset, plug the wireless adapter into a USB port on your PS4, turn on the headset, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair it.
