I've done this like a hundred times: put batteries in, hold the pairing button until the light blinks, and you're good to go!
Hold the pairing button inside the battery compartment for 5 seconds until the light starts flashing. Your Roku TV should recognize it shortly.
Honestly, half the time you just put the batteries in and it connects automatically. Easy peasy.
