How to Connect a Speaker to a PS4

Use the optical audio output on the PS4 if your speaker supports it. It provides better audio quality, but make sure you have the right cable and your speaker has an optical input.
First-hand experience here: I've got my PS4 hooked up to my Bluetooth speaker. Just put your speaker in pairing mode, go to PS4 Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices, and select your speaker from the list.
Honestly, just use a Bluetooth speaker. Connect it to the PS4 settings and enjoy wireless audio!
