First-hand experience here: Plug your TTX Tech controller into the PS3 with a USB cable, then press the PS button. It should sync automatically. If not, go to 'Settings' > 'Accessory Settings' > 'Reassign Controllers' and do it manually. I had to do this once and it worked like a charm!
