Hey, take the optical cable from your Astro A40 mixamp, plug it into the optical port of your Series X, then use the USB cable to connect the mixamp to the console. Done and dusted!

I use an Astro A40 and all I did was connect the USB to my Xbox Series X. Works like a charm! No need for optical cables in my setup.

To connect your Astro A40 to your Xbox Series X, just plug the A40鈥檚 inline cable into your controller鈥檚 3.5mm headphone jack. Set your audio settings on the Xbox to 'Headset' and you鈥檙e good to go!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
