I had the same issue! Ended up using a USB Bluetooth dongle. Worked like a charm connecting my Beats to PS3.

Bluetooth won't work natively with PS3, so grab an aux cable. Quick and easy!

You can’t connect them wirelessly. Use a wired connection or get a compatible Bluetooth adapter.
