First, turn on your Xbox 360. Then, press and hold the Guide button on the controller to turn it on. Finally, press the sync buttons on both the console and the controller. Voila, connected!

The process is actually pretty simple. Hit the power button on your Xbox 360 to turn it on. Then, press the Guide button on your controller. Find the sync button on your console (it's a small button near the front) and press it. Lastly, hit the sync button on your controller (next to the LB button). Should do the trick!
