Easy peasy! Just plug the DualShock 3 into your PS3 using a USB cable, press the PS button, and boom, synced! You can unplug the cable afterward and play wirelessly.

I did this last night! Just connect your controller to the PS3 with a USB cable and press the PS button. The controller will pair quickly. Afterward, you can play without the cable!
