Just plug your DualShock 4 controller into the Steam Deck using a USB cable, and bam! You're all set to play. Steam Deck's software should recognize the controller right away, making it super easy to jump into your games. If you're more of a wireless warrior, you can pair it via Bluetooth too. Just hold the PS and Share buttons on your DualShock 4 until the light bar starts flashing, then look for it in the Bluetooth settings on your Steam Deck.
I've been using my DualShock 4 with my SteamDeck for weeks now. Super seamless to connect. I just plugged it in via USB the first time, and now it connects over Bluetooth automatically. Makes for an awesome gaming experience, especially for those Steam games that feel more natural with a PlayStation controller!
