Yo, make sure you have an HDMI splitter that strips HDCP. Hook it up like this: PS3 > Splitter > Elgato. Done and done!

Honestly, PS3's HDCP is a hassle. Get a component cable for the PS3, then run that through the Elgato. Simple and no stripping shenanigans needed.

Hey there! To connect your Elgato to a PS3, you'll need an HDMI splitter that strips HDCP (since PS3 has that pesky protection). Connect your PS3 to the splitter, then one HDMI from the splitter to your TV and another HDMI to the Elgato. Easy-peasy!

I had the same issue! I got an HDMI splitter that removes HDCP, and it worked like a charm. Just connect it between the PS3 and Elgato. Happy gaming!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
