How to Connect External Hard Drive to PS5

I just did this last week. First, make sure your external hard drive is formatted as exFAT or FAT32. Then, plug it into any USB port on your PS5 and follow the on-screen prompts. Worked like a charm for me!

Easy peasy! Just plug the external hard drive into one of the USB ports on your PS5. Then, go to Settings > Storage and you should see it there. Done and dusted!
