You can't directly connect Fallout 76 to Steam if you bought it through Bethesda or another platform. However, you can add it as a non-Steam game. Open Steam, go to 'Games' at the top, select 'Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library,' and navigate to your Fallout 76 executable (usually in the Bethesda.net Launcher folder). This way, you can launch Fallout 76 through Steam and have access to the Steam overlay while playing.

Nope, you can't 'connect' Fallout 76 to Steam like it's integrated or anything. If it鈥檚 not a Steam purchase, the best you get is adding it as a non-Steam game. It's more of a workaround than a connection, tbh.

Hot take: Why bother connecting it to Steam? Just enjoy the game on whatever platform you bought it on. The extra steps are hardly worth the hassle, especially if all you get is the overlay.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
