I struggled with this. Just plug the dongle into the USB port, then sync it with the guitar by pressing the sync buttons on both devices. Worked like a charm for me!

First, make sure you have your guitar dongle and the wireless guitar ready. Plug the dongle into one of the USB ports on your PS3. Turn on your PS3 and then press the sync button on the dongle. Finally, press the sync button on your guitar and they should connect. Rock on!

Easy peasy! Plug the dongle into the PS3's USB port, press the sync button on your dongle, then press the sync button on your guitar. Done!

Why would you even use a dongle? Get a newer console, lol.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
