On a console? Plug your headset into the controller, then go to Fortnite settings and turn on voice chat. Boom, done.

Make sure your mic isn't muted in the settings and that it's the default input device. Sometimes it's just that!

Connecting a microphone to Fortnite is super easy! Just plug your mic into your PC, console, or mobile device's audio jack or USB port. Then, go to the 'Settings' menu in Fortnite, select the 'Audio' tab, and make sure 'Voice Chat' is turned on. Adjust your input settings to choose your microphone, and you're good to go!

As someone who spends way too much time on Fortnite, I鈥檇 say: double-check your device鈥檚 audio settings first! Sometimes, it鈥檚 just set to the wrong input.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
