Unfortunately, you can't directly connect an Xbox 360 to the current Xbox app like you can with newer consoles. It's mainly designed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Just a heads up, the Xbox app is mostly for Xbox One and Series X/S. For Xbox 360, you'd be better off using Xbox SmartGlass, the predecessor to the current app.
I鈥檝e tried this myself! Make sure your Xbox 360 and the device with the Xbox app are on the same network. Then, sign into your Xbox profile on the app, and you should see your console under 'My Consoles.'
