Alright, here's the magic trick: turn on your PS3, go to 'Settings' > 'Accessory Settings' > 'Manage Bluetooth Devices', and put your Switch Pro Controller into pairing mode (hold the sync button). When the PS3 finds the controller, select it and you're good to go!

I got you! Plug your Switch Pro Controller into the PS3 via USB, it'll recognize it as a generic controller and you can play right away. No fuss, no muss.

Don't bother. The Pro Controller doesn't connect well with PS3. Stick to a PS3 or PS4 controller.

I鈥檝e done this a million times! Just connect your controller via USB cable first, let the PS3 recognize it, then you can pair it wirelessly if you want. Easy peasy.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
