Firstly, you'll need a USB cable to connect your PS3 controller to your Mac M1. Then, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is on. After connecting the PS3 controller via USB, press the PlayStation button in the center. It should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices. Unplug the USB and you should be able to pair wirelessly.

Download the 'Sixaxis Pair Tool' from the internet. Connect your PS3 controller to your Mac M1 using a USB cable and run the tool to pair it with your Mac. Once paired, you can use it wirelessly via Bluetooth.

PS3 controllers are old. Consider upgrading to a PS4 or PS5 controller. They have better compatibility with modern systems like the Mac M1.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
