Super easy! Just plug the wireless receiver into your PC's USB port, then hold down the sync button on the guitar and the receiver until they pair. Rock on!

I did this last weekend! Connect the USB dongle that came with your guitar to your PC, press the PS button on the guitar, and it should sync automatically. Windows might need a minute to install drivers.

Honestly, it's hit or miss. Some people have better luck using programs like Xpadder or JoyToKey to map the buttons.
