I've done this, and it's pretty simple. Insert the dongle into the PS3, press the sync button on both the guitar and the dongle, and you're ready to rock.

Turn on your PS3 and plug in the wireless USB dongle that came with your Rock Band guitar. Then, press the sync button on the dongle and the guitar. They should find each other like love at first sight!

Make sure your PS3 controller is turned off before syncing the Rock Band guitar. Sometimes the system gets confused and doesn't recognize the guitar. After syncing, you can turn the controller back on.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
