Honestly, just turn on your hotspot, go to Internet Connection Settings on your PS3, find your hotspot, and enter the password. Done.

First-hand tip here: Make sure your hotspot is set to 2.4 GHz. My PS3 couldn't detect my 5 GHz hotspot at all. Once I switched it, it connected perfectly.

Connecting your PS3 to a hotspot is pretty straightforward. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings, then choose 'Easy' and select your hotspot from the list. Enter the password, and you should be all set!

Quick note: If it keeps disconnecting, try moving the console closer to the hotspot or reduce the number of connected devices.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
