Easy peasy! Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the port on your PS3 and the other into your router or modem. Then, go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings, and choose 'Wired Connection'. Follow the prompts, and you're good to go!
Been there, done that. Plug in the Ethernet cable, head to Network Settings on the PS3, choose 'Wired,' and let it do its thing. Works every time!
