No can do unless your laptop has an HDMI input, which most don't. A video capture card is your best bet.

You'll need an HDMI video capture device to connect a PS3 to a laptop screen because laptops usually don't have an HDMI input. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the PS3 and the other into the capture device, then connect the capture device to your laptop via USB and install any necessary drivers or software.

I used an Elgato HD60S to hook my PS3 up to my laptop. Worked like a charm! Just connect the PS3 to the Elgato, then the Elgato to your laptop via USB.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
