I've done this with my laptop using PS3 Media Server software. Set it up on your laptop, then access it on your PS3 through the 'Music,' 'Video,' or 'Photo' tabs in the XMB menu.

Connecting your PS3 to your laptop wirelessly requires setting up a media server on the laptop. You can use software like Plex or Universal Media Server. Once set up, navigate to the PS3's XMB menu, go to 'Settings,' then 'Network Settings,' and select 'Media Server Connection' to find your laptop.

Use a program like TVersity on your laptop, enable media sharing in the software, and your PS3 should detect it under 'Video' in the XMB menu. It's pretty straightforward!

Buy a good HDMI cable and skip the wireless hassle. Seriously.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
