You gotta use a Mini USB to USB cable. Just plug the Mini USB end into your PS3 controller and the USB end into your MacBook. Then download software like OpenEmu to help recognize the controller and you’re good to go!

Get yourself a Mini USB to USB cable, and connect your PS3 to your MacBook. Use apps like RemoteJoyLite. It’s straightforward for most things!

Just use a Bluetooth connection! Hold the PS button on your PS3 controller until it blinks, then pair it via Bluetooth settings on your MacBook. Easy peasy.

Use a PS3 controller and a USB cable. Plug it in, download drivers if necessary, and check YouTube for specific steps depending on your macOS version.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
