How to Connect a PS4 Controller to PC for Steam Gaming
QuestioningVale路7 months agoFirst off, plug your PS4 controller into your PC using a USB cable. Then, open Steam and go to 'Settings' > 'Controller' > 'General Controller Settings' and check the box for 'PlayStation Configuration Support'. After that, your controller should be ready to go! For a wireless connection, hold the PS and Share buttons on your controller until the light bar starts flashing, then go to your PC's Bluetooth settings and pair it with 'Wireless Controller'.

If you're lucky, just plugging your PS4 controller into the PC and launching Steam will work without any extra steps. But, honestly, who's that lucky? Use Big Picture mode in Steam to make sure everything's set up right.
Wireless is the way to go. Hold those buttons, pair it in Bluetooth settings, and feel the freedom of gaming without wires. Just make sure Steam has the PlayStation support option ticked, or it's all for naught.
Honestly, just use a cable. The Bluetooth method is iffy at best.
Just plug it in with a USB and you're basically done. Steam's got you.
