If your monitor doesn't have built-in speakers, use the PS4's optical audio out port or a 3.5mm audio jack to connect external speakers or headphones.

You might need to change the display settings on your PS4 to match your monitor's resolution. Go to Settings > Sound and Screen > Video Output Settings.

For a simple setup, use an HDMI cable to connect your PS4 directly to your monitor. Make sure your monitor has an HDMI input, and you're golden!

Some monitors only have a DisplayPort. In that case, snag an HDMI to DisplayPort adapter, and you're good to go.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
