Unfortunately, MacBooks don't support HDMI input, so you can't directly connect your PS4 to your MacBook with just an HDMI cable. Try using Remote Play instead. Download the Remote Play app on your MacBook and connect to your PS4 that way. Works like a charm!

Been there, done that. Even if you somehow manage to connect it using an HDMI capture card, the lag will make it unbearable. Stick to Remote Play for a smooth experience.

You can't directly hook up a PS4 to a MacBook using HDMI. However, you can use a capture card if you really need to. But for most purposes, Remote Play should do the trick.
