You can't directly connect a PS5 controller to a PS4. However, you can try using a third-party adapter like the 8Bitdo USB Adapter which might do the trick!

I've tried this myself and it's a no-go. The PS5 controller doesn鈥檛 natively support the PS4, so you鈥檒l need a PS4 controller or an adapter.

Unfortunately, the PS5 controller isn't natively compatible with the PS4. Your best bet is to use a compatible PS4 controller instead.
