Use an HDMI capture card if you want to display your PS5 on your PC screen. Just connect the card to your PC via USB, then plug the HDMI from your PS5 into the card.

Just connect the HDMI from the PS5 to the monitor. No need to complicate things.

Plug one end of the HDMI cable into your PS5 and the other end into your PC monitor's HDMI input. Easy peasy!
