Your PS3 can't connect USB speakers directly. Try using the audio out (red and white) ports instead. If you have an adapter, that might work.

Unfortunately, the PS3 doesn't support audio output through USB speakers directly. Best bet is to use the RCA output or optical connection to your speakers or an adapter.

Just hook up speakers using RCA cables or optical outputs. USB speakers won't work on the PS3.
