Honestly, just get a USB OTG cable and plug the controller directly into your Android device. No fussing with Bluetooth!

Speaking from experience, press the sync button on the controller and navigate to your phone鈥檚 Bluetooth settings to start the pairing process. Make sure you have Bluetooth turned on though!

If you're struggling, remember: newer Xbox controllers (the ones with a 3.5mm headphone jack) have Bluetooth. Then it's just a matter of hitting the sync button and pairing it in your phone's settings.

Make sure your Xbox One controller has Bluetooth (newer models do) and can be identified by the plastic around the Xbox button being part of the face of the controller. Sync it like any other Bluetooth device.

It's easy! Just turn on your Xbox One controller, press the sync button until the Xbox button starts flashing, then go to the Bluetooth settings on your Android device and pair it. Voila, you're ready to game on the go!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
