You might need a video capture card. Most PCs only have HDMI out, not in.

To connect your Xbox 360 to a PC using HDMI, all you need is an HDMI cable. Plug one end into the Xbox 360 and the other into your PC's HDMI input. Most PCs don't have HDMI input ports, so make sure your PC supports this first!

The Xbox 360 doesn't stream directly to a PC via HDMI. You'll need a capture device. Trust me, I've tried it.
