Don't bother. Just grab a DualSense controller and enjoy the PS5 as intended!

I tried this myself and had no luck. Your best bet is to stick with the DualSense controller for the full PS5 experience.

Sadly, you can't directly connect an Xbox controller to a PS5. They just aren't compatible, kind of like oil and water.
