Easy peasy! Just press the pairing button on your Xbox One S, then press and hold the small pairing button on the top of your Xbox One controller until the Xbox logo starts flashing. They'll find each other faster than you can say 'Halo'.

From experience, make sure your controller has fresh batteries or a full charge. Then hit the pair button on the console (look for the small circular button) and the one on the controller. Xbox logo blinking means they're in sync mode.

Plug the controller into the Xbox One S using a USB cable, turn the console on, and then press the Xbox button on the controller. Bingo, they鈥檙e connected!

Hold the sync button till your hands hurt. Just kidding, it only takes a few seconds. Press the sync button on both the console and controller and watch the magic happen.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
