I do this all the time! Turn on the controller by pressing the Xbox button. Hold the sync button for a few seconds till it flashes. Then, on Windows, hit Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, click 'Add Bluetooth or other device' and choose 'Bluetooth'. The controller should appear in the list鈥攃lick it to connect. Simple!
Pro tip: ensure your Bluetooth drivers are up to date! Follow the same sync steps, but if it's not connecting, check for driver updates.
Hold the Xbox button and sync button till the light flashes, then find it in your PC's Bluetooth settings. Done.
