Unfortunately, you can't connect an Xbox Series S controller to an Xbox 360 directly. Compatibility issues, you know? You'll need to use an Xbox 360 controller instead.

Xbox Series S controllers don't work with Xbox 360 consoles. The tech just isn't there for cross-compatibility.

I tried making my Xbox Series S controller work with my old Xbox 360, but no dice. Had to dig out the old 360 controller instead!
