Sometimes hotel WiFi asks for a password through a browser. Connect your Xbox Series S using the steps mentioned, then open Microsoft Edge on your Xbox to enter the login credentials on the hotel’s captive portal page. You should be good to go!

First, turn on your Xbox Series S and head to the 'Settings' menu. From there, go to 'Network' and select 'Network settings.' Choose 'Set up wireless network,' and then select your hotel’s WiFi network from the list. If there’s a hotel login page, you can try connecting through your phone or laptop first, then share the connection to your Xbox using a mobile hotspot.

From my experience, hotels with a captive portal can be tricky. Use a travel router to connect to the hotel WiFi first, then connect your Xbox to the travel router. It’s a bit of a hassle but works like a charm!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
