You can't connect an Xbox 360 directly to the Xbox app. It's made for newer consoles like Xbox One and Series X/S.

In short: You can’t. The Xbox app doesn’t support the 360 console. It’s only for Xbox One and Series X/S.

Been there, tried that! The Xbox app is only compatible with Xbox One and newer consoles. Xbox 360 users are out of luck.
