Honestly, just use a USB cable or connect them to the same network. Steam's Remote Play feature does the heavy lifting. It's not direct control per se, but it lets you play your Steam Deck games on your PC.

Actually, controlling your Steam Deck directly from a PC isn't a built-in feature, but don't worry, there's a cool workaround! You can use Steam Remote Play. First, make sure both your PC and Steam Deck are logged into the same Steam account. Then, from your PC, launch a game using Steam, and choose the 'Stream' option which should show your Steam Deck as an available device. Voila, you're basically controlling your Steam Deck from your PC!

Direct control isn't really a thing without third-party software or some really techy setup that's more hassle than it's worth. Just enjoy the Steam Deck and PC independently; they're both awesome in their own ways.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
