To convert a linear equation into slope-intercept form, solve for y to make it look like this: y = mx + b. For example, if you have the equation 2x + 3y = 6, just subtract 2x from both sides and divide everything by 3 to get y = -2/3x + 2.

Just make sure your equation is in the format y=mx+b where m is your slope and b is your y-intercept. Easier than pie!

Slope-intercept form? Just isolate y on one side. That's it!

Take my word for it鈥攇etting your equation into y = mx + b makes graphing sooooo much easier!
