To convert to slope-intercept form, get y by itself on one side. If you start with something like 2x + 3y = 6, subtract 2x from both sides and then divide everything by 3: y = -2/3x + 2.

I had to do this last week. Just move everything except y to the other side of the equation and simplify. Done!
