Copying a character in Terraria isn't a feature provided directly in the game, but you can do it manually! Just navigate to the Terraria folder in your documents (it's usually in Documents\My Games\Terraria\Players for Windows users). Here, you'll find files for each of your characters. Simply copy the file of the character you want to duplicate and paste it in the same folder, but rename it. Boom! You've cloned your character.

Honestly, just play the game and make a new character. Part of the fun is experiencing the progression and challenge. Taking shortcuts with copies kinda takes away from that Terraria magic, don't you think?

I've done this a lot for testing stuff. Make sure to backup your characters before copying. Had a friend who lost his original character cause he messed up renaming. Better safe than sorry!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
