How to Copy a Terraria Character
To copy a Terraria character, you just need to navigate to your Terraria characters folder (usually found in 'Documents\My Games\Terraria\Players' on Windows). Once there, simply copy the character file you want to duplicate and paste it into the same folder. Rename the copy to whatever you want, and boom, you've cloned your character!

Just save yourself the hassle and use a character editor if you want to make a copy. Much easier to manage items and stats that way.
Actually, I tried copying my character to play with my friend on their world, and it worked like a charm! Just make sure you rename the file after copying it so you don't get confused between the original and the copy.
