You can't copy and paste directly in the Instagram app for post captions! Sorry, it's one of those quirks...

Easy-peasy! Just tap and hold the text you want to copy, select 'Copy', and then tap and hold in the text field where you want to paste it, and select 'Paste'. Done!

When I needed to copy a bio for a project, I just took a screenshot and used an OCR app to grab the text. Not perfect but it worked!

Here's the secret sauce: for captions or comments, you'll need to use a web browser. Just open Instagram on your browser, find the text, and do the ol' copy and paste routine. Voil脿!
