I鈥檝e tried to copy my friend's emblems, but it only works if they set their emblems to public. Make sure they haven鈥檛 locked it down!
To copy emblems in Black Ops 2 on Xbox One, find a player's emblem you like, view their playercard, and hit 'Copy' if the option is available. Some players may have this feature locked, so give us all a worthy challenge and make your own!
Honestly, just stick to creating your own emblems; it's more fun and personal.
When viewing another player's emblem, check if they allow copying; if so, select 'Copy' from their playercard. If not, tough luck!
